The Gospel Feast 585

Tune: Arranged by W. C. Givens, 1907
Lyrics: Charles Wesley, 1747
Meter: Long Meter (8,8,8,8)
Come, sinners, to the gospel feast,
Let ev'ry soul be Jesus' guest,
Ye need not one be left behind,
For God hath bidden all mankind.

Sent by my Lord, on thee I call,
The invitation is to all;
Come, all the world, come sinner, thou,
All things in Christ are ready now.

See Him set forth before your eyes,
That precious, bleeding sacrifice;
His offered benefits embrace,
And freely now be saved by grace.
Givens composed this major companion of The Road to Life and Death (Windham) on page 38 in 1907.
